Chile
Country where Athena Foods was established and is home to its headquarters. It has one of the highest standards of corporate governance in South America and is considered one of the main markets in South America. There are currently no production units of the Company on Chilean soil, rather a corporate office and two distribution centers, strategically located, in Concepción and Santiago, in order to meet an ever more stringent demand.
Argentina

These units comply with the strictest health and quality controls, which start with the traceability of the animals and extend throughout the industrial process until the delivery of the final product. The adoption of best practices and the abundance of pastures, together with the crossing of the European breeds Hereford and Aberdeen Angus, make Argentine beef internationally recognized as one of the best in the world, and is exported to countries such as China, Chile and Russia, among others.

The abundant availability of natural pastures, investments in genetic improvement and the adoption of a continuous improvement policy throughout the production chain including visits to farms and evaluation of calves have all contributed significantly to raising the quality of cattle farming in the country. The production of Colombia meets national and international standards, which have allowed it to obtain the ability to export to Russia and Egypt, for example. International trade is further favored by the unit’s privileged location, which allows it to supply the Atlantic Ocean through the port of Cartagena and the Pacific Ocean through the Port of Buenaventura.
