Athena Foods is a privately held corporation, the leading exporter of fresh beef and its derivatives in South America and the most geographically diverse player in Latin America. It was founded in Chile by the Brazilian company Minerva S.A. in August 2018 to manage all the operations the parent company already had in Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay and Uruguay. 102-1 | 102-3 | 102-5
The Company has 14 abattoirs and boning units: five in Argentina, one in Colombia, five in Paraguay and three in Uruguay. It also maintains two processing units in Argentina, in addition to distribution centers in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Paraguay. 102-4

Focused in the processed meat segment, the Rosario and Pilar processing plants in Argentina produce hamburgers, sausages, pâtés and nuggets, selling these products in the domestic market to large retailers, food service and fast-food chains. They are also exported to supermarkets in Brazil, Chile and Paraguay. Athena also distributes a variety of third-party products in the domestic markets of Brazil, Chile and Paraguay. 102-2
